Patrick Balfour
With over twenty years experience of property in the Inverness and Aberdeen property markets - everything from sales to development of multi-million pound inner city housing - Patrick is well-placed to assist clients obtaining the best price when selling and the keenest bargain when purchasing
A former pupil of Inverness High School, Patrick has spent the majority of his life in Inverness, with the exception of three years in Edinburgh at Heriot-Watt University studying mathematics and 14 years in Aberdeen working as an accountant and in Property Development.
Anne Marie Douglas
Anne Marie is a Graduate of Aberdeen University. Having completed her Traineeship with a prestigious city firm and working in Aberdeen for a number of years she relocated to Inverness in 2005 commencing Practice with Karen in 2006.
Anne Marie is a member of the Family Law Association and specialises in Divorce, Separation, Residence and Contact and is regularly appointed as a Court Reporter. She has been trained in Collaborative Law and is also a trained Family Mediator. She has particular expertise in dealing with complex financial and business issues.
Amy Fuerst
Amy is from the Inverness area and a ‘founder member of the Cowan Douglas team, having joined the Firm a week before the doors were officially opened in August 2006! A former pupil of Fortrose Academy, Amy works primarily with Karen Cowan and has now qualified as a Family Law Paralegal.
