Prenuptial Agreements
A Prenuptial Agreement which is commonly abbreviated to a “prenup” is a contract entered into prior to Marriage or a Civil Partnership. The content of such an agreement can vary widely but it commonly includes provisions for the division of property or financial support in the event of a Divorce or dissolution of a Civil Partnership.
Parties who choose to cohabit rather than marry and may wish to consider a pre or post cohabitation contract prior to cohabiting or in the event of their cohabitation ceasing.
